Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel/iron sheet or steel profile, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc. Other method is electro-galvanizing.
Galvanized steel can be used for making different kinds of steel profiles. That is called pre- galvanized steel profiles. It means, steel is painted before forming, as opposed to post painting.
Galvalume is proprietary steel with a coating consisting of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon over the base metal to protect it from the elements. This coating has superior corrosion resistance which gives it two to four times the life span over traditional galvanized metal.
Our company is in a position supply all theses steel profiles as per the customer requirement.
